The NYC/NJ club scene and other stateside locations into "undergroud dance music," such as Chicago /Detroit, etc., were all incubators that gave rise to global club culture as we know it today in 2024. I took most of my cues from what was going on in the NYC/NJ dance underground from the mid-70s to current times (2024).
