I am very excited to present my latest vinyl only session ORIGINS.
Origins explores the timeless questions of who we are and where we come from. Through melodic textures and emotional depth, the music reflects the connection between memory, identity, and the experiences that shape us. It is a journey inward, tracing the echoes of our beginnings while embracing the constant process of becoming. Origins invites the listener to reconnect with the essence that lies beneath the surface.

It eases us back into a more up-tempo direction while maintaining the smooth & relaxing atmosphere from last week. I think this is well played on your part & exceptional work as always !!! Of course, things haven't always been so seamless; I think I’ve learned a lot in that regard over the past 30 years. And it doesn't always work out perfectly. Sometimes I feel like completely switching up the approach to a session, and the flow ends up breaking because of the specific tracks I’ve chosen. Of course, it’s also down to the magnificent tracks themselves, they are beautifully produced and often fit together so perfectly. @Phil_Moreno Thank you very much for your wonderful reply. I know that mixing on vinyl carries unique challenges, I think it is truly an instrumental art form. In the end, perfection is a myth and minor slips are inevitable. Ultimately, how the mix sounds as a whole, is what truly delivers a great final result. In my view, true Dj-ing is about curating a journey where the tracks talk to each other. It is that beautiful call-and-response dynamic much like the production process where different elements of a track blend and answer each other. And I can say that you execute this brilliantly, constantly selecting the right “conversational” tracks.

Dieser Remix finde ich echt gelungen, weil er das Original andeutet, kurz einspielt aber eigentlich ein ganz eigener Track ist. Ich wünsche dir ein wunderbares Wochenende.
