In 1992, Phat Rabbit started to dabble in the fine art of djing, playing at local
clubs and house parties. After two years of much practice and much more
discipline he was ready for his official debut, a gig at one of the regionally
renowned Essence raves, thrown by the Domingo Brothers(Florida). Conscience
of the fact that first impressions last forever, Phat Rabbit knew that he had to
rock the spot. Ten minutes into his set all 500 bodies were moving to his
masterfully mixed breaks. In 1999, Release Management, who was well known
for its massive roster and high standings in the breakbeat community, added
Phat Rabbit to their impressive roster. Release handled national and international
artists such as Rennie Pilgrem, DJ Sandy, Jeckyl & Hyde, Omar Santana, Johnny
Dangerously ..just to name a few.
