A.K.A. Penguin

Born in Birmingham in 1966, moved down south when I was about six or seven, lost my accent since then,

Working at Southern Studios / SRD in North London from 1989. Before that King Penguin Distribution (my own record distribution), and even before that, helping out in 1985 at All The Madmen Records in Brougham Road, Hackney E8 and following the 'company' to Kings Cross, N1 a little later on until the record label's demise in 1987...

I have been happily residing in Palmers Green since 1994. Before that I was at several places in Wood Green, and even before that Hertford, also stayed in Brixton and Hackney at various times. In October 2011 I moved away from Palmers Green after seventeen happy years and landed with a bump on Enfield greenbelt land...

Likes: vinyl records, esp punk, psyche, mod, 60's soul, reggae and bluebeat. Got many, many thousands of orig discs at home!
