Pendemic is the DJ alias of hockey star and two-time NHL Stanley Cup Champion Dustin Penner. Born in Canada and now a Los Angeles transplant Penner started listening to dance music 13 years ago. “I definitely think dance music has been influential in who I am today,” says Penner.

Penner explains what he loves about electronic dance music: "For me, it was progressive trance where it has the buildup and crescendos to the top, then drops. After the drop, it makes you happy, you start smiling, and you feel better."

Over the past year Pendemic has played alongside Above & Beyond, Paul Van Dyk, Seven Lions and Morgan Page.
