Amsterdam, Netherlands

What's exciting about house music: music with four on the floor beats and repetitive musical themes and melodies. Sometimes it's quite difficult to describe what this world is all about, except when it's 2 am and you're standing in the middle of a dancefloor seeing sweaty, smiling faces lighted by flashing lights in a place covered in fog. This is my world and I love that music.

For me, complete addiction to dance music happened during ’95 and ’96; the years which saw great bands like Underworld and Leftfield emerging.

DJ's like John Digweed and producers like Guy J manage to constantly renew the scene and are therefore a big infulence on me. My first break came when I was invited by Junkie XL to play along on his dutch tour in '99. So one of my very first gigs was at a sold out Melkweg, Amsterdam where, needless to say, my nerves were doing overtime. From that moment on, things really started to move.
