Music has always been a matter of Energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel... On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio.
This set was recorded live at Panda Tea, beginning gently, like stepping into the jungle at dusk.
Slow rhythms, ethnic fusion textures, desert winds moving through the grooves.
Then gradually the path opens.
The pulse deepens.
The bass starts breathing.
And the journey moves through desert house, melodic house, Chicago house and deep house, shifting landscapes of rhythm and vibration.
