Phoenix, AZ based producers Sam Dorko and Andrew Hood make up the Pastries With Teeth duo. Drawing inspiration from groups such as Pretty Lights, The Glitch Mob and Gessafelstein, PWT twists the sounds of broken beats, dirty bass, and orchestral arrangement into a dynamic live show that marks the band’s ambition to break sonic barriers, and have fun doing it!

PWT formed after Phoenix Contemporary Dance Company approached Hood about writing an original production for a performance in October of 2012. Utilizing his extensive drumming and percussion repertoire he teamed up with Dorko, a classically trained violinist, and the two began writing what turned into an experimental full length album. The album,EATEN ALIVE, was officially released December 15th, 2012. With classical violin lines, and filthy, nasty bass, the hour length musical journey drives from laid back grooves to full on raging electro while bringing a new life to electronic music
