Paper Relics comprises of brothers Harry and Stuart Towell.
Inspired by their rural surroundings and a family history of farming, their sound is imbued with a strong pastoral connection. The languid pseudo-blues guitar work of Stuart Towell fused with accent instrument recordings, field noise and sound design of Harry Towell make for a relaxed cocktail of electro-acoustic soundscapes.

Their first release was a fractured four track EP called 'Recovered Artefact' on Harry's Audio Gourmet netlabel. Following on from this, their debut album 'Over Exposure' is due for release on the ultra-arty Time Released Sound label at the end of May 2011.
