DJ PJ's came to be as I became deeply interested in sampling vinyl records to produce hip-hop beats. As the collection grew, I had the feeling as if I should be spinning these records live, and with the help of some established DJ friends, through encouragement and allowing me to showcase with them, DJ PJ's was born.
