P.V.R Studios is a social enterprise which aims to inspire and educate people in the community to enrich their lives with music technology.
PVR studio is based in Darlington and provides music technology facilities across three rooms. One large fully equipped recording studio complete with club style DJ Booth and two smaller rooms fully kitted out with DJ/ Music Technology equipment
The project is the legacy of Peter Ryan a well known and much loved DJ from Darlington (PVR stands for Peter Vincent Ryan). Peter was the creator of the first and most famous house music parties in Darlington back in 1991 at Club Lucy's. We sadly lost Peter in September 2013 so his closest friends and DJ production partners created this project to pass Peter passion for music on to the next generation to provide a fitting legacy to a great man.
