PSYCHiP is the cumulative and progressive artistic effort of VJ:DJ Shadowvex & DJ Shamii Leightexx scavenging heavily from the binary expressions of the 80s, 90s & early years of the New Millennium. Having met in the LA Goth/Industrial scene—at clubs like Helter Skelter, DDT, Kontrol Faktory & Perversion—their dystopian-futurists aesthetic was ripped wide open and then pulled together through the magnetizing energies of dark, psychedelic trance. It is within these sacred confines that they are able to find and bring together visionary, hacker-relevant and transhumanist themes, throbbing rhythms, progressive dance and dark, glitchy riffs to create a unique dance-floor experience.
