I've been involved in college radio for decades. I don't follow trends or get sucked in by gimmicks. My prerequisite requirements for rewarding listening are: melody, harmony, rhythm, a high level of musicianship and excellent song writing. I have a very low tolerance for moaners and talkers. If I want to listen to people talk, I'll watch TV or a movie. Moaners? I don't listen to moaners.
