The Politics of Health DC

Washington, Dc, United States

"The Politics of Health" (POH) is broadcast advocacy alerting communities to the information, methods, decisions and actions needed to assume control of the factors that determine their health and life expectancies. POH offers a trusted weekly forum of interviews, editorials, news updates, commentary and reports to help communities meet the challenge of health disparities.

There was a time when African Americans did not breed fast enough; now, African Americans don't die fast enough. POH is dedicated to sharing information about efforts of similar communities to influence their common well-being, sometimes in conflict with the policies of social elites and governing-class representatives.

Host/moderator: Samuel Jordan, Convener of Community First at United Medical Center.

"The Politics of Health" originates from Historic Anacostia in Wash., DC. Listen live on We Act Radio, 1480 AM in the DC Metro Area, or via streaming at www.WeActRadio.com.
