DJ PODJE – Biography
Podje has been DJing professionally since 1990 was made famous by his eight year residency at the U2 owned Kitchen nightclub where he was the main resident for the flagship Saturday nights as well as all special occasion nights as well as having residencies in Hibernia in Boston, Tangled in Manchester and Thompsons garage in Belfast. He guested in some of the best known superclubs in the world including Ministry Of Sound, London.
Podje was the Ireland “Cream” resident and played at all the “Cream” nights in Ireland and on the main stage at “Creamfields” . He played numerous other festivals including, Homelands, the Miami Winter music conference, DanceLake in Poland and played in the 2FM arena at “Planet Love”.
Podje was 1/2 of the band “Ridgewalkers” and in 2002 they had a European No. 1 hit called "Find" across the UK and European dance charts and worked in the studio with such producers as Andy Moore, Tarrantella and Parks & Wilson.
