The composer, designer, photographer and video artist, PJ Pargas is a Fine Arts graduate. He experiments with the interaction between sound and imagery using digital equipment. His main subject matter is the body, movement, material and temporality. This interdisciplinarity allows him to explore the tensions between rhythmic, melodic and visual material. His works on various types of creation : audio-visual medium, set-ups and performances. Intent on searching out new ways, he consistently collaborates with artists from varied universes and disciplines, in particular choreographers, musicians and visual artists .
PJ Pargas holds workshops, and has been teaching video and electro music as part of the MAAVMaster course (Music Applied to Visual Arts) at Lyon 2 University since 2009.
