Ou Tribalist DJ‎(born Olwethu Mtywaru ‎on 02 February 1988) is a South African and Cape Town DJ.He began his career around 2006 in the local Tarvens of Guguletu as a resident DJ.‎ He is arguably the most prominent House music DJ in Cape Town. Ou Tribalist DJ‎ had his big break shortly after he met DJ Rabs Vhafuwi ‎on May 2010 where he was a resident DJ at ‎Pisto's Lounge in Guguletu; he then also was introduced to KenlowDJ at MarimbaCTICC ‎a few months after he met DJ Rabs Vhafuwi‎. ‎
Ou Tribalist DJ says, "The key thing about the music I play is that it crosses over all racial mind and souls. I play lot of deep and tribal into my set and house music is my preferred choice of music because it can blend with any other genre".
