A Brief History of OTHER LANDS
Other Lands is the current alter ego of Gavin Sutherland, a fully grown human man who since earliest childhood has made, and will make, music for as long as he can. Exploring all realms of music from instrumental meditations made with a multitude of instruments, to philosophical or sometimes plain silly but topical lyrical content, all set to timeless melodies that with any luck even your great grandparents could get with.
He also likes to put other people's music together using multiple techniques learned over a period of approximately 30 years or more - these techniques are constantly being refined and updated so be sure to stay tuned while he works things out.
