Despite being active on the South East’s underground circuit for over a decade under his given name, the Origin of X project is a conduit to exploring the darker recesses of electronic music. Dispensing with the formula and writing his own rule book, Origin of X is producing moody, malevolent dance music aimed at the dance floor, spanning from house to progressive to techno.
After years of toying with the idea of taking his career in a new direction, experimentation in the studio has given origin of X the confidence to make and play music that goes against the grain. Music that not only challenges himself as an artist, but offers a fresh musical experience to audiences inside the club.
Interestingly, as much as Origin of X is a future-forward project, it’s also the acknowledgement that he is the sum of a rich tapestry of influences.
