Music has always been my lifeline — a family inheritance transmitted over pirate radio and battered cassette players. My dad was a DJ & radio ham (callsign G4 RNI); I grew up on Radio Nordsee International, almost named after Radio Caroline, and by six I was hosting “Radio Veronika” on a red-blue cassette radio. He built me my first pink PC (Beast v1.0) and wired me up with the gear I needed. I produced my first full track at 7 and had a DJ play my music at 8 — a tiny moment of kindness that set my path.

By 12 I’d built a home studio with Technics 1210s and PCs. I was bullied, the decks became my armour. A blind MSN webcam mix once flipped my biggest bully into my best mate — music kept proving itself. I’m DJ Luna LaFey: an alt/goth DJ mixing hard dance, metal-infused remixes and whatever reckless sounds I can wrestle into a set. I play B2Bs with my husband Daz Smith, together we run FeyFreq.com. This channel is where the past, the dark, and the dance collide.
