Chrystopher (Producer) and DJ A-Prez are local independent artists in Columbus, Ohio who have been working on their artistry for a combined 20 years. After meeting in the Air Force Reserve and becoming close friends, a conversation began about the possibility of using each others talents for the advancement of their careers to create something more. In discovery of feeling different from their conservative roots, in May 2017, the group Odd Culture was formed to demonstrate that each individual felt odd in a culture full of conformed norms. They wanted to present music in an expressive and positive way while allowing people to be who they are and live their life to the fullest. In performing sets, Odd Culture has a love for Hip-hop, which translates into the Trap genre. While there are a number of musical influences from EDM and other types of music, you will see the trap element at the core.
