Imants started his musical journey in 2010.
He mainly played in the old town’s clubs in Riga, experimenting with various music styles.
In 2016 he went to the mountains of Norway where he met the local DJs artists and under their influence developed his passion for the Ethno-Electronic, Slow-Disco and World Music sounds.
When returned back to Latvia, he diplomated at the Rīga’s DJ School and begun his career under the name of Oaksmith.
