Born Robert Castillo, ORFEO is a classically trained opera singer from Los Angeles. The name ORFEO was chosen as a tribute to the Baroque opera titled L’Orfeo, whose central theme is the Greek legend Orpheus’ ability to seduce all living things with his music and sound.
Although ORFEO’s background revolves around a classical setting, his vocal styling and influences are drawn from modern singers Smokey Robinson, Donna Summer and Sylvester.
