Operation Noah’s Ark

MISSION STATEMENT:
To provide burial and bereavement services and products to the underprivileged families who have suffered the loss of a loved one and who cannot afford the costs associated with services for the deceased.

Environment

The recession that our country has been laboring in for the last 3 years has seen 47 million families sink below the poverty line. 3 million deaths each year now qualify for and desperately need help paying for funeral services and associated costs.

Organizational Summary

Operation Noah’s Ark is a not-for-profit 501 (C) (3) organization serving individuals and families who are unable to pay for funeral or other bereavement services after the death of a loved one.

It was founded on July23, 2001 by Laura E. Bacon and is the only such program of its kind. It is available to all persons in need, without regard to race, religion, creed, or minority status.
