I first discovered what has since become the vast empire of Rave and Festival (EDM, etc.) music in Boston, circa 1999. Though I was marginally aware of electronic music in terms of some psytrance, and was deeply into HipHop on the east coast (collecting vinyl and going to shows as often as possible) I had not made the connection of what was truly happening until stumbling into a room playing Squarepusher's Selection Sixteen on vinyl. I was hooked. DrumNBass has been my mainstay since then, and it wasn't truly until the last five years or so that I have stared exploring house, techno and all the miasma of sub-genres within.
And it wasn't until 2020 during the first chapter of the pandemic that I finally began to mix, so thank you for joining me on this journey. I have been enthused by music for so long, I think it is time to put it down in mixes.
