My name is Tristan Barrow and NotQuiteClyde is a completely self produced Hip-hop/Electronica project of mine, I write mostly about overcoming my battles with schizo-effictive disorder. My life's story is written within the lyrics. Music has forever soothed my mind when things become unbearable, its literally saved me from myself at times, I understand it and it understands me and even if my music helps just one person the way music has helped me, than all the sleepless nights of hard work are completely worth it. I'm not in this to get rich, I could care less if I never make a dime. I'm in this because I love every second of the proce. I just want to share my story and hopefully help some people along the way by showing them that mental illnesses are not something we should be ashamed of, our flaws make us beautiful and you have to live with them for the rest of our lives so we might as well own them.
