These mixes from the 1990s were strictly bedroom stuff, using three audio cassette tape decks, rocking and rolling and even splicing. Yes, splicing! I'd worked previously as a sound recordist and sound mixer / dubbing editor in film production, laying down soundtracks in 16mm, so splicing wasn't unusual. The master cassettes have been played so many times over the years they're now falling apart. Time to digitise!
