San Francisco, United States

The Noise Pop Podcast is a monthly series showcasing important, noteworthy new releases from the independent and underground music scene. The Noise Pop Podcast is unique because it simply serves as a forum for new music discovery. Host Dawson Ludwig handpicks the music each month and delivers his knowledgeable perspective on the artists and their songs, withholding critique. The podcast also features musical tastemakers and musicians discussing recent music discoveries, larger topics about the state of independent music, and the process of writing and recording new music.

Over the course of five days, Noise Pop presents dozens of unique and important music shows in the city's best-loved venues. It has grown to include a film festival, an educational series, and art openings. It is a music-lover's celebration and a celebration of San Francisco -- the shows sell out, people have fun, and every year the event grows in size and scope.
