New Music for Old People is a radio show broadcasting on CHMR FM in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, and streaming on Mixcloud.

The late-night program features interviews with guest artists, music by them, and playlists curated by them. Each show features material from guests' influences, and material from new bands and artists that they are enjoying.

Guests are primarily smaller independent artists, and almost exclusively those that host Christopher Myrick has seen live and met at their merch tables.

The program's title was inspired by The Cramps "Bad Music for Bad People" and the 1980's "Rat Music for Rat People" punk compilation series.
