Back in 1990, ST Format put a fully working version of TCB Tracker on their cover disk (more here http://www.stformat.com/stf16/) which was nice of them. All of a sudden you could make a track inside your computer, like everyone does now. The ST didn't have an audio out as such, so it took some bare wires and blu-tack to get it plugged into the tape deck. A bit after I got a sampler cartridge and nicked a load of sounds off of records, some are more obvious than others.
