Necronome started as Ran·cor Radio, an underground internet radio station. Started as a collaborative effort with Dog Radio, out of the Mix Cafe in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It all came together after Iconian played a show at the Mix Cafe. While hanging out with the Mix Cafe crew the idea was proposed to do an internet radio show using Dog Radio's feed. Iconian's vision of a scene where variety and differences are embraced, one that includes accepting the darkest, and most extreme forms of electronic music. Born from this was Ran·cor Radio, a monthly show on Dog Radio.

Necronome Recordings
With the company evolving into to a label, the decision was made to change the name due to a naming conflict. So born is Necronome! Necronome Radio continues where Ran·cor Radio left off, and it continues growing stronger by joining the Impulse Detroit family!
