Zahle, Lebanon

I come from a city named Zahlé located at the junction of the Lebanese mountains and Beqaa plateau.

Music has always been a part of my life, as my father had a long and successful career in Lebanon's folklore music industry with the well renowned Fairouz and Rahbani brothers as a professional dabke dancer and trainer. Growing up as a child, I would always remember waking up to the smell of coffee being made with film soundtracks, classical or chorus music in the background. This is how it all began. I was introduced to electronic music in 1997 when I first listened to one of Sash's greatest hits, Ecaudor. I then became inspired during this golden age by Dutch artists Tiësto, Armin van Burren and Ferry Corsten until the year of 2003 where I shifted into the world of progressive uplifting trance. AVB's A State of Trance radio show kept me up to date on the latest tunes in EDM industry.
