Born and raised in Johannesburg (Originally of German decent) Nathan taught himself to DJ at the age of 16 years old by watching his brother and friends hone their DJ skills. After countless hours of experimentation Nathan found himself finally producing his own music too. Years later Nathan Mayor’s chart topping tracks like ‘Do You Know’ & ‘Do It All’ (released through Soul Candi Records) have seemed to cement Nathan’s presence as a South African DJ & Producer. A closer look shows Nathan’s passion for all types of dance music. His authentic, innovative, and original urban style of musical composition and mixing give Nathan his unique identity, setting him apart from other producers and DJ’s.
