Being described as alluringly dark and classically melodic, this debut is one of the most unique electronic chillout albums to date. Naming Ghosts uses a combination of electronic and acoustic instruments to bring about rich textures, and couples them with a somber mood, resulting in an album that has been called "theme music for a midnight dinner".
Naming Ghosts successfully adopts a shadowy tonal palette reminiscent of Dead Can Dance or Portishead, while incorporating a psychedelic feel that would be at home on any Pink Floyd album. Mix that together with an almost Muse-esque writing approach and one is left with songs that are as dynamic as they are beautiful.
