Nada Sherdy aka NEDZ, is a self-taught, open format DJ based in Cairo. Growing up in Egypt and having lived in both New York and Los Angeles for a period of her life, NEDZ is heavily influenced by her international exposure and continues to cultivate her passion for music through constantly evolving and adapting to the different cultures around her. From starting off with creating playlists for her friends, to buying her first controller in 2016— she started her journey by making SoundCloud mixes and has been gradually practicing and perfecting the art of DJing ever since. NEDZ fuses her love for Hip Hop and RnB with African, Caribbean, and Egyptian sounds to blend a unique, seamless sound of her own.
