NTsKi (pronounced “n-t-s-k-i”) is a multi-talented artist/musician based in Kyoto, Japan. She DJs and produces her own music, visuals and performances.
NTsKi’s sound is eclectic, utilising her impressive vocal range and sampling prowess to create songs ranging from sensual R&B to experimental rap and sugar-sweet pop. Her debut album, Orca, was released to critical acclaim in 2021, charting at #3 on Apple Music Japan Electronic Top Album Chart. Its follow-up album, Calla (2023), was picked up by Spotify, who nominated NTsKi as December ambassador for its EQUAL campaign. In 2024, i-D magazine Japan named her a “culture icon.”
She has performed live at major domestic festivals like Fuji Rock and FFKT, Japan; as well as further afield at SXSW, US. NTsKi has a string of live shows through Japan, Europe and US under her belt, with support slots wide ranging from Coucou Chloe to Don Letts. As a DJ, she plays at clubs across Japan, and appeared on The Lot Radio, New York and NTS, London.
