Singer, songwriter, producer, DJ, and label owner, Scots-Nigerian Nicolette has had an extraordinary musical journey. She has collaborated with exceptional talents like Shut Up and Dance, Massive Attack, Alec Empire, and Plaid. Nicolette burst onto the scene in 1990 with her hit single ‘School of the World/Single Minded People,’ followed by her groundbreaking debut album ‘Now Is Early’ in 1992. Her work with Massive Attack on their "Protection" album, co-writing and singing on ‘Sly’ and ‘Three,’ cemented her reputation. Signed to Gilles Peterson’s Talkin’ Loud label, she released the iconic ‘No Government’ and the acclaimed album “Let No-one Live Rent Free In Your Head.” During this period, she also collaborated widely, released "Nicolette DJ Kicks," and toured globally as a DJ.
