Broadcast every Wednesday night on 102.8FM, The Music Lowdown is one of the biggest live music shows in the North West, over the past 18 months it has featured over 60 different artists live in the studio. The show has introduced so many talented musicians to the listeners and it has launched many musical careers with artists featured on the show going on to sign to record labels, play festival slots and to support some huge artists including Ed Sheeran and New Order.
It is an exciting time to be part of the Music Lowdown team with lots of big things planned for the future; we can announce that we're joining forces with Cabin 5150, a state of the art recording studio based in Macclesfield. We'll be broadcasting live performances from Cabin 5150 simultaneously on Canalside’s The Thread 102.8FM and PhaseOne Radio. This will take the show to the next level and it means we have the perfect venue for any band to show off their talents on air.
