Baraka Shujaa (stage name Ziller Bas / Mugogo De Dj) is a rapper, writer, entrepreneur and Afro ancestral soul DJ based in Kilifi, Kenya. Bas first began writing and producing his own music when he was in high school where he developed his own style, a genre he named and popularized. ‘Swengflow’ is a style of rap that combines three languages: Swahili, English, and Giriama, the latter of which being his native language. Ziller Bas has taken Swengflow around the world performing on live stages From Kilifi to Europe

Being an afro ancestral soul DJ , the music he plays is inspired by the flavorful expression of indigenous cultures. The sounds he features reflect the voices of what some call the collective consciousness, and others call The Voice of the Gods.

His goal is to play music that makes people happy, that can fix broken hearts, and challenge the way people think about existence.
