What can I say! I'm from South Texas and live along the border to Mexico, where the weather is always hot and sizzling as the books that I write. I am an oilfield wife to the love of my life, a proud mother of two wonderful children, and a grandmother to a handsome little boy. Oh, and let’s not forget about my personal bodyguard, who shadows me everywhere I go. Yep, his name is Clyde, a mixed Chihuahua dog, and we make a pretty pair as Bonnie and Clyde!
My ability to speak two languages, English and Spanish, plays a big part in my story telling. My writing incorporates both languages throughout my stories, therefore, creating novels that are written as Spanglish. I believe that this has given me a unique position, as I unite my two cultures, as I write about American people of Hispanic descent and their way of life.
