Mr.Ultrafino
DJ, producer, record collector, co-creator of Prague jazz/funk DJ scene, and a Radio1 DJ. Mr.Ultrafino stands behind some of the most diverse club nights in Prague, including the widely acclaimed jazzdance oriented Groove Dock (Jazz Dock), and disco / deep house night LIFTED modeled after the legendary New York Loft parties created by David Mancuso. Tirelessly trying to widen range of music played in the club environment, his all-vinyl-all-night sets tend to seamlessly incorporate anything from jazz and soul through hip hop and funk to disco, soulful house, contemporary alternative electronica, and everything in between and beyond. Mr.Ultrafino released two vinyl Eps - EP Time For A Rennaisance a Last Night I Dreamt About The Sun - exploring alternative sounds of electronic dance music. His colaborations with the producer Darryl Baalki can be heard in the sets of such DJs as Shuya Okino (Kyoto Jazz Massive), Kevin Yost nebo Rainer Trueby (Jazzanova / Compost Records).
