A Brief Look at My Musical Journey

It all started in 1980, when I began DJing at small parties and house events. Most of my time, however, was spent creating mixtapes.

Some of the older DJs may remember the Dutch radio feature Bond van Doorstarters (BVD), where many legendary megamixes were broadcast. That style inspired my own mixtapes.

In 1988, I moved into electronic music, working with synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, and an Atari 1040STE.

From 1990 onwards, I produced electronic dance music in my own studio. This led to work for a major recording studio, creating sound design and drum programming for dance productions.

After that, I performed live with various bands until 2020.

Then came COVID—and with it, the idea for this mix: 200 songs in 120 minutes.

This project will be released in six parts, about 20 minutes each.

Enjoy my mixes and my music!
