Spinning back in time for 25 years!
Mr.Kite is playing his 60's and 70's Flower Power Rock, Funk and Folk music for 25 years at all kind of parties in Belgium and abroad.
Starting in the late 1980's with all music on Vinyl (LP's mostly) and some cassettes as some music was hard to find those days. Then following the evolution into CD's and now converting to digital and exploring the new possibilities.
The first parties were at "Bovenzaal" in a town called Boortmeerbeek. This place was closed down in the early 1990's and the parties became even more legendary than they were before.
After that the scene became smaller and even vanished almost completely. Thanks to Mr.Kite and a few other die hard DJ's we still have some 60's and 70's parties today. Often visited by a new generation who discovers the beauty and soul of these classical rock-funk-folk songs.
As long as people as Mr. Kite plays this music, the creators remain immortal!
