Why don't I use the synthesizer which is the sound of the future?"
And I didn't have any idea what to do
But I knew I needed a click so we put a click on the 24 track
Which then was synced to the Moog Modular
I knew that could be a sound of the future.

The Roland TB-303 Bass Line is a synthesizer released by Roland Corporation in 1981. Designed to simulate bass guitars, it was a commercial failure and was discontinued in 1984. However, cheap second-hand units were adopted by electronic musicians, and its "squelching" or "chirping" sound became a foundation of electronic dance music genres such as house and techno. It has inspired numerous clones, including Roland's own TB-03, Behringer's TD-3, and several others.
