Momentform was created in the south of france, during the summer of 2010. Behind it are Ianis Lallemand and Pierre Suarez, two frenchmen in their early twenties who felt the need to merge synthesizer-based, minimal electronic music with introspective french lyrics. Under the influence of 80s underground coldwave, which they felt compelled to explore and appropriate, the band’s DIY work ethics refers to a disenchanted, singular vision of modernism.

Momentform will release their first LP in 2011 on Brooklyn-based label WT Records, including reworked tracks from their previous efforts as well as original material.
