Model Citizens was born out of an idea to create band of muso's that like to play music and not take ourselves too seriously, the name stuck as we consider ourselves “Models Citizens” not having had many complaints about our behaviour that one should take too seriously.
Model Citizens are Onno and Horn - they have been playing music together since 2012 on and off amid life and is various twists and turns.
Onno has graced a few stages but started by being classically trained in opera for many years. His appreciation for music is next level. Horn has no musical training at all other than being on the wrong side of the DJ box for a few decades and 6 years of playing alongside geniuses and playing to whoever will listen.
Collectively we play Progressive Psy, through to techno and House. Onno more the darker energy and Horn likes to bounce around with happier smiles and rolling grooves.
No one has more fun - its been proven - we are scientists too - well some of us.
