Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic Karina Ravelo A.K.A. Mistik was involved in the music world since her early childhood, when her great grand father was one of the most important musician and classic composers in the country.
In 1997 she began to discover the electronic music scene. And it wasn’t until 2001 when she finally begins to practice and starts to get motivated to experiment and transmit her music to the crowd. What soon lead her to her first public presentation on September of 2002 and becoming the first Dominican female Dj. something that would mark her in the electronic music history of the Dominican Republic.
Experimenting through various genres as progressive house, tech house. She finally finds her self identified with house music, tech and deep sounds. Ever since her career took off she have shared the dj both with artists like Mistress Barbara, Stacey Pullen, John Creamer, Saeed Younan, Angel Alanis, SI*SE and others.
