When I first stared mixing I didn't even have a mixer. I would lower and raise the volume on two separate stereo systems. Then I received a mixer for my birthday (Gemini GMX-750) and I was off. Learned the craft in my basement. I've been mixing on and off ever since. I've gone back into "The Basement" to record and stream. But nothing beats a live set and moving the crowd.
