Alex Fisher grew up in the West of Scotland and began DJing about in 2003, taking initial influence from some of the more subtle house DJs of that time - Sillicone soul, i-cube, bobby peru and Brett Johnson were key figures.
Alex bought his first set of decks and picked up DJing as an "i'll show you" to his mates who had laughed him off a first shot at an after party in Aberdeen. The next time he returned up north was to play in Club Metro. He then returned to Glasgow and started a night called Nascent at various venues around the city including Club 69.
Time moved on and so did his Nascent companion so apart from being a guest at a few local nights he started his night Autokrat with Stuart Brazewell. The night progressed over a year in bar Pivo before moving to Barfly.
He has since ran his own outdoor party, 'the binnin' and guessed at various nights through out the city.
