Combining otherworldly synthesis and pressurized breaks and basslines, Amsterdam's MIDAS 22 has been launching listeners into outer space with their brand of intergalactic electronica. While the musical duo refuses to pigeonhole themselves into a singular genre, what they focus on is creating a vibe that transcends space and time, teleporting the listener into alien landscape and faraway realms. With that said, MIDAS 22 are influenced by a myriad of genres and their sound can be decribed as a fierce melting pot of hardcore, DnB, breakbeat, trance and oldschool techno.
Collaboration has always been seamless for them from the very beginnin -- they've shared a deep, mutal connection with each other that could be describe as 'one in a million', and connect without the need for words.
Originally from Hungary, the duo met in their home country of Hungary in 2005. Through a mutal love for music and parties, the two hit it off and would go on to refine a sound that is uniquely theirs.
